Register A Foreign Principal
Pursuant to Sub. Bill for Senate Bill 9, 2025 Session, any foreign principal subject to this law who owns or acquires any interest (excluding de minimis interests) in real property within 100 miles of any military installation in this state or any adjacent state must register that interest with the Attorney General within 90 days of acquiring such interest or the effective date of the law, whichever is later.
Only foreign principals from the following countries are required to complete this form:
- People's Republic of China, including the Hong Kong special administrative region
- Republic of Cuba
- Islamic Republic of Iran
- Democratic People's Republic of Korea
- Russian Federation
- Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela
Failure to file this registration may result in mandatory divestiture of the real property.
