Sedan man sentenced to more than 6 years for sex crimes

SEDAN – (March 7, 2013) – A Sedan man was sentenced yesterday to more than six years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt said today. 

Bradley Gary Fluegel, 34, originally of Bartlesville, Okla., but living in Sedan at the time of the crimes, was sentenced Wednesday in Chautauqua County District Court. Judge Roger L. Gossard sentenced Fluegel to 76 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections.

Fluegel pleaded guilty to the charges last year. The case was investigated by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department with support from Sunlight Children’s Advocacy Center. Assistant Attorney General Lee Davidson from Schmidt’s office prosecuted the case.
