Anthony man sentenced to more than 6 years for child sex crimes

ANTHONY – (September 4, 2014) – An Anthony man was sentenced today to more than 6 years in prison for child sex crimes, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt said.

 Jason Eric Salsberry, 34, was sentenced to 80 months in the Kansas Department of Corrections by Judge Larry T. Solomon in Harper County District Court for two counts of aggravated indecent liberties, one count of criminal sodomy, one count of indecent liberties, two counts of indecent solicitation of a child and one count of sexual exploitation of a child. Solomon also ordered Salsberry to lifetime post release supervision.  Salsberry pled guilty to these crimes in June 2014.

 The charges stemmed from incidents occurring in 2013 in Harper County.  The Anthony Police Department investigated the case.  Assistant Attorney General Christine Ladner prosecuted the case.
