AG Kobach issues statement following House passage of foreign-owned-land bill

TOPEKA - (March 26, 2024) - In response to the Kansas House passing a foreign land ownership bill, Attorney General Kris Kobach issued the following statement:
"While I applaud the House for addressing the threat posed by foreign land ownership in Kansas, there are problems with the House bill that I hope will be addressed in conference committee. In its current form, this bill will be very difficult to defend in court."
