Kansas VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday) is a free statewide automated victim notification service, sponsored by the Kansas Department of Labor, the Office of the Attorney General, and the Kansas Sheriff's Association, that lets victims of crime, victim advocates and law enforcement access timely and reliable information regarding offenders. Kansas VINE monitors the custody status of offenders in county jails and provides this information to victims for free 24/7/365.

VINE is a valuable safety planning tool for crime victims, but only if they know how to use it! You can help educate victims about this service, by attending a FREE training session.

What you will learn:
Learn about VINE's features, its reach in Kansas, its importance to victims as an anonymous service, how offender data is collected, the notification process, accessing the service by phone and website, reporting capabilities, and more.
